The Joint Venture of Dragados SA – Ferrovial SA – GEK Group, wins the Ionia Odos, highway project with CostOS Estimating. Ionia Odos is the biggest PPP project currently in Greece and one of the biggest in Europe. This is a success story for Nomitech Consulting that was involved in the preparation of the Cost Estimates for the Bid. Nomitech prepared the Cost Estimates for the Highway Bridges with CostOS Estimating on behalf of TERNA SA, member of the GEK Group. During the Cost Estimating phase, Nomitech proposed, priced and documented the most cost effective solutions for the bridges, by running cost optimization scenarios with CostOS Estimating. Since the Highway Bridges accounted for a major part of the construction budget, CostOS Estimating powerful capabilities played a major role in proposing the most cost effective solutions and winning the bid.
